Hitachi Foundation Honors HBK
Hot Bread Kitchen Founder, Jessamyn Waldman was recently selected by The Hitachi Foundation as one of nine entrepreneurs to join their inaugural class of Yoshiyama Young Entrepreneurs. Founded in 1985, by Hitachi Ltd, The Hitachi Foundation is a philanthropic non-profit that seeks to support socially responsible businesses. In order to qualify for the Yoshiyama Young Entrepreneurs program, the business leaders must have launched an organization before their 30th birthday that provides economic opportunities to low-income Americans. Hot Bread Kitchen is honored that Jessamyn was chosen as a member of the Yoshiyama Young Entrepreneurs and looks forward to collaborating with Hitachi and the other selected entrepreneurs in the future.
