Chief Operating Officer
Carla Licavoli is a seasoned Chief Operating Officer (COO) with over 10 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, specializing in driving financial and operational success. Serving as the COO at Hot Bread Kitchen beginning in May of 2024, Carla is overseeing operations, ensuring compliance, and enhancing organizational efficiency to support the mission of empowering women through careers in the culinary industry.
With a passion for creating positive change through food, Carla’s impact extends beyond her current role. She has held significant positions at Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, March For Our Lives and ECPAT-USA (now PACT), where she contributed to critical initiatives aimed at workforce development, social justice, gun violence prevention and the protection of children from exploitation.
Carla resides in Brooklyn with her husband, two sons, and their French bulldog. Since the pandemic, she has been honing her sourdough bread-making skills, achieving mostly successful results.
