Invest in Breadwinners
Congress has not yet taken action to extend the critical assistance provided by the CARES Act, creating a gap in relief that will be catastrophic for households across the country.
Today, we are asking you to keep doing what you have always done: invest in our breadwinners. We invite you to make a donation to our cash assistance fund, which will help alumni bridge the gap between the end of unemployment and additional relief.
Support Hot Bread Kitchen today and your dollar goes even further: our Board of Directors will match 100% of all gifts up to $100,000.
Hot Bread Kitchen is adapting our programming to meet the unique challenges of this moment, by providing virtual job readiness training and job placements wherever possible; sales opportunities for business owners of color; and expanded social work support and financial health counseling.
