Development Team
Institutional Partnerships Officer
The Institutional Partnerships Officer is part of a results-driven and high-performing development team responsible for raising $6 million+ in annual philanthropic support. The role will report to and work closely with the Director of Institutions and Development Strategy to build a strategic plan for increasing the breadth and depth of the organization’s institutional portfolio.
Grant Writer (Part-Time)
Hot Bread Kitchen seeks an experienced grant writer to support our active institutional giving program. The Grant Writer will develop proposal narratives for restricted and general operating-focused funds from corporate, foundation, and government donors and have the ability to complete 1-2 writing projects during a schedule of 10- 20 hours per week.
Director of Individual Giving
Reporting to the Chief Strategy & Advancement Officer, the Director of Individual Giving will oversee a growing portfolio of $2M in individual and major gifts, with increasing revenue objectives over the next three years as part of the organization’s growth campaign. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, a passion for managing teams, leading effective and engaging fundraising events, and a commitment to leveraging data to support fundraising.
Development Associate
Hot Bread Kitchen seeks a full-time, mission-driven, and systems-oriented Development Associate to support development operations in a fast-paced and growing fundraising department. The role will report to and work closely with the Director of Institutions and Development Strategy to increase the team’s efficiency by building, improving, and maintaining the team’s operations and administrative functions.

Director of Culinary Training
At Hot Bread Kitchen, the Director of Culinary Training is responsible for overseeing the delivery of culinary workforce job training curricula, which prepares members for jobs in the food industry. The Director will collaborate closely with the Member Engagement, Community Engagement, and Job Placement Teams to ensure members graduate into full-time employment.
Culinary Case Manager
Hot Bread Kitchen is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful social worker who will provide direct support services to members, both current and alumni, of Hot Bread Kitchen’s Career, and Food Entrepreneurship programs. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of social work based practices and passion for client facing work.
Culinary Case Manager (Part-Time, Temporary)
Hot Bread Kitchen seeks a highly motivated and resourceful part-time Case Manager who will provide direct support services to members of Hot Bread Kitchen’s Culinary Training program located in the Bronx. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of social work practices and a passion for client facing work.
Small Business Program Manager
Hot Bread Kitchen seeks a mission-driven and entrepreneurial Program Manager who will operationalize Hot Bread Kitchen’s Small Business program. The ideal candidate has excellent project management and communication skills and is excited about small businesses, especially women of color-owned and operated food businesses.
First Course Case Manager
