A Culture of Belonging and Allyship
Our work helps New Yorkers who face barriers accessing and advancing within traditional career pathways. Many of the individuals who seek our support are people from communities impacted by historical systems of inequity, who have faced discrimination, inequitable access to capital, or other barriers to success.
Hot Bread Kitchen is an ally to people from all backgrounds who seek economic advancement and financial stability in New York City. After 17 years of dialogue with our program members and external partners, we have built an inclusive community that our members rely on for both professional and personal support.
Hot Bread Kitchen is committed to being an active part of an inclusive food ecosystem, and we believe this commitment will:
- create an organizational community where all feel respected, supported, and valued;
- foster deeper relationships that drive opportunity, innovation, and impact for the communities we serve;
- set an industry standard that prioritizes inclusivity and allyship.
