Thank you for joining us for a one-of-a-kind celebration of Hot Bread Kitchen’s 15th Anniversary and our exceptional community of Breadwinners. Honoring longtime Hot Bread Kitchen Board Chair Diana Taylor and partners King Arthur Baking Company, the Fête for 15 Breadwinners Benefit will give guests a taste of the diverse flavors and talents of our city–and of Hot Bread Kitchen’s impact on our community and beyond.
During this evening of community and culinary magic hosted by Gail Simmons, we’ll toast to the collaboration, dedication, and growth that have helped hundreds of women and people of color launch culinary careers and achieve economic mobility over the past 15 years.
OUR HONOREES
Diana Taylor
On June 7th, we’ll be honoring Diana Taylor, Hot Bread Kitchen’s Board Chair and a tireless advocate for women’s economic empowerment. A leader during her 40-year successful career in banking and financial services, Taylor served as the Superintendent of Banks for New York under Governor George Pataki and currently sits on several public company boards, including Citi and Brookfield Asset Management.
King Arthur Baking Company
Established in 1790, King Arthur Baking Company is known for their exceptional products, resources, and people-positive approach to doing business. The storied baking company began partnering with Hot Bread Kitchen in 2015, when we teamed up to increase access to quality food in the Harlem community. Since then, King Arthur has been one of Hot Bread Kitchen’s mission-aligned food partners, providing high-quality baking products for our programs, investing in educational initiatives, and supporting our growth through charitable contributions. A 100% employee-owned, B Corp, King Arthur is dedicated to addressing social inequities within the food system and making baking accessible for all.
