Hot Bread Kitchen provides career training, job placement, and small food business support, with access to support services that put clients on a path towards financial security. We’re grateful for our network of 200+ community partners across New York City who both refer their members to our programs, and provide crucial supportive services, such as financial counseling, housing and food assistance, legal services, childcare support, mental health services, and more.

Our Programs
Culinary Training
We get members the technical and professional skills they need for jobs in the food industry. We prioritize job placement with good employers, fair wages, and opportunities for advancement.

HBK Incubates
We seed, start, and scale small food businesses. Our vast small business network offers entrepreneurs technical assistance, customer connections, and access to capital.

Skills + Job Prep
We support members gaining English language skills critical for success in the culinary workplace through ESOL offered with Culinary Fundamentals.
When members enroll in courses with Hot Bread Kitchen, they are also eligible for support services outside the workplace.
