HBK Incubates is Hot Bread Kitchen’s culinary incubator and business development program. Our program offers food businesses the opportunity to grow their first 2 to 3 years without the cost of building and equipping their own commercial kitchen. We offer commercial kitchen rental at below market rates and support start-up food businesses with business and culinary workshops, commercial kitchen training, and exposure to a vibrant and dynamic entrepreneurial and culinary environment.
This program is for the ambitious entrepreneur who has outgrown their home kitchen and is ready to formalize and expand their business. These entrepreneurs have a strong product concept, sound business plan, and a clear idea of what it takes to produce, sell and market their product.
HBK Incubates accepts motivated entrepreneurs with great food businesses that have the following elements:
- Unique product that is not highly represented in the market
- Small but strong product line or menu
- Good knowledge of the market for their product
- Readiness to start producing commercially and selling within a couple of weeks of entering the program
With access to a commercial kitchen and additional business development support in our incubation program, these entrepreneurs can grow a sustainable business.
