How to Apply
To become a member of HBK Incubates and rent commercial kitchen space, businesses must submit: 1) completed application form 2) competitive analysis 3) list of sales and accounts 4) 6 month sales and expense projections 5) resume(s) and 6) marketing materials (ex: menus, labels, website, etc). Incomplete applications will not be reviewed for candidacy. Materials submitted are non-returnable.

If you are unable to receive an electronic version, paper applications may be picked up from Hot Bread Almacen in La Marqueta at 1590 Park Ave (at 115th St.).
HBK Incubates accepts applications year round, but businesses are accepted into the program three cycles per year. Application deadlines are January 31st, May 31st, and September 15th. Complete applications submitted before the application deadline will be gladly considered and reviewed if businesses would like to start earlier.

Our selection committee carefully screens applications and identifies candidates that most closely match our qualifications of eligibility. Qualified applicants will be invited to a personal interview with Hot Bread Kitchen staff and advisors approximately one month after the application deadline. Accepted members will attend an orientation before producing in the kitchen.
