How to Apply

To become a member of HBK Incubates, businesses must submit a completed HBK Incubates application form, in addition to a business plan, cash flow projections, financial statements, resume(s), letters of recommendation, and proof of income (if applicable for subsidized rate applicants). Incomplete applications will not be reviewed for candidacy. Materials submitted are non-returnable.

HBK Incubates accepts applications year round, but businesses are accepted into the program three cycles per year.  Application deadlines are January 31st, May 31st, and September 15th.

Our selection committee meets each cycle to carefully screen applications and identify candidates that most closely correspond to our qualifications. Qualified applicants will be invited to a personal interview with Hot Bread Kitchen staff and advisors. Successful applicants will be invited to sign a HBK Incubates’ membership agreement and attend an orientation before producing in the kitchen. On average, 4 businesses enter the incubator program each cycle.
