Family Circle‘s roundup of the most influential moms of 2016 featured Jessamyn as “The Dough Gooder.”
She shared some of the best advice she’s gotten: “Someone once told me that I should go about my work as if I knew that I was doing everything correctly. Many women, myself included, act with fear that we are going to make a mistake. If you tell yourself that you are doing the right thing, you can act on instinct, with conviction. More often than not, your instinct is correct, and trusting it makes you a better professional.”
