Investing in Breadwinners. Transforming Lives.
Hot Bread Kitchen’s mission is to create economic opportunity for women and gender-expansive people, immigrants, and people of color through job skills training, food entrepreneurship programs, and an ecosystem of support in New York City.
Hot Bread Kitchen partners with a network of good food employers that offer flexibility, training, and opportunities for career and personal growth. We connect the participants in our food career program with quality jobs in the food industry, including roles as bakers, cooks, and kitchen managers.
In our food entrepreneurship programs, we support a range of businesses, from caterers to consumer packaged goods to brick-and-mortar cafes, to help aspiring and current business owners thrive.

More than business support
“Hot Bread Kitchen has given me such a community of women. They are a resource beyond resource, connecting me with financial planning, mentorship, photography support… The entire team, this entire experience, has taught me how to dream. That’s huge.”
